Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my bio and taking that step towards healing! I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor practicing in the state of North Carolina with over 10 years of mental health experience while practicing therapy 4 of those years. I received my Master's in Counseling from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a Bachelor's in Psychology. I absolutely enjoy working with concerns of anxiety, depression, work place issues. life adjustments and family conflict. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help challenge your way of thinking and work towards a healthier thinking pattern. I will also utilize Motivational Interviewing to create a plan for change, while holding you accountable for making the change. I believe that therapy is a working relationship and do believe that we should work together to figure out what works best for you, as each individual is different. You are the master of your life! I operate from a person-centered approach where our relationship and building rapport is the most important to me. My approach is laid back, non-judgmental and will create a welcoming environment that will help you during this vulnerable time.
