Serena Green is a Licensed Master of Social Work and a state Certified School Social Worker. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport and later attained her Master in Social Work degree from Springfield College. Serena has actively worked in the helping and clinical service fields in many roles. She has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families of different backgrounds. Self-Discovery can be scary. The process of healing may not be pretty. We all need someone in our corner to support us along the way, help us process some past and present thoughts, and nudge us to speak our future goals into action. Serena strives to encourage, empower and equip her clients to take charge of their narrative; after all, you are the expert of your own life. Serena works with various clinical modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to create an effective and individualized treatment. Serena incorporates art, movement, and/or meditative elements into treatment to help center clients as needed. Anxiety, Depression, Low Self Esteem, and Communication Breakdowns; Serena specializes in working with individuals struggling to align themselves after transitions and changes life may bring. Serena's goal is to focus on ""healing the whole self"" by engaging in meaningful self-reflection and intentional self-care. Remember, you have a purpose and you've got this! Serena is offering evening and Saturday hours.
