Seong Cho-Ju, MA, MSW, LCSW is the Clinical Director and Outpatient Provider at Psychotherapy 4U, INC. She is highly experienced in clinical therapy, is a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and a trained Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist, and is bilingual in English and Korean. Having earned her Master of Arts degree in Gerontology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Masters in Social Work from Dominican University in River Forest, IL, she is specialized in dementia care, participating in both the Sleep Study in Dementia and Geriatric Dementia Study. As the Cook County court-certified mediator, her mediation works to provide tools to all ages that can be used to save relationships and has a wide range of clinical experience with special focus on work with depression, couples, family difficulties, anxiety, and work-related problems. She offers a cognitive and dialectical behavioral and/or spiritual approach in her work with individuals as they deal with difficulties, distress & concerns related to depression , anxiety, premarital/marriage counseling, family/divorce mediation, relationship conflicts, parenting skills deficits, behavioral issues, career counseling and biblical counseling.
