My name is Senaida Loaces, fluent in English and Spanish. I graduated in 1999 from Carlos Albizu University in Miami Florida, with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. Later became a Certified Addiction Counselor, and a qualified Clinical Supervisor in the State of Florida, with over twenty years of experience working in the field of mental health and addictions. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in different modalities including individual, family and groups from different populations. Some of the emotional disorders I specialized in treating include Major Depression Disorder, Anxiety, Adjustment disorders, Oppositional Defiant, ADHD , and daily stressors that requires professional attention, among others. Additionally, I am a certified Trauma- focused Cognitive- Behavioral therapist.
My approach is to assist my clients through Behavioral, Cognitive and Motivational therapy, using tailored techniques to each individual case. I believe in creating a safe space , while building rapport and trust . My therapeutic belief is that each person is unique and requires individualized treatment approach.
