About

My name is Season Apple and I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I received my bachelors degree in psychology in 2005 from Widener University and earned my masters in mental health counseling in 2009 from Walden University. I also have a certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Penn State University. I have been in the mental health field for over 15 years and look forward to many more years doing what I love!
I have a private practice in the Philadelphia suburbs where I treat individuals who struggle with anxiety and depression along with other symptoms. My work in the last few years has been with those who require further development of coping skills to deal with stress, relationship issues and problems related to social isolation. Through years of research and practice, I have become highly well-versed in first decreasing problematic symptoms, getting to the root of the problem and aiding my clients in developing skills to control those symptoms in the future.
I tell clients almost daily that the work we do together in our sessions is only a small piece of the puzzle. It is what they do outside of our sessions and the work they put in that really changes their situation. Empowering others and motivating them to adjust their negative patterns is significant in my work. Change can be really overwhelming but adjusting is a more manageable idea!
My personality is warm and down to earth. I have a silly sense of humor and invite my clients to let their guards down and allow themselves to be vulnerable. That is when the magic happens!
I am passionate about my job and make it a point to ensure all of the clients I work with know how important they are. Life isn't easy and when we have a therapist we can trust and open up to without the fear of being judged, it can be so worthwhile.

Looking forward to working with you!!
