I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 10 years experience in providing therapy to individuals, families, and couples. I have helped many overcome anxiety, depression, PTSD, chemical dependency, trauma, family conflict and separation. I also work with impulsive and obsessive disorders, and I specialize in treating emotional, sexual, and physical abuse survivors. My experience additionally includes working with immigrants forced out of their home and country due to war, famine, and torture.

My highest accountability and priority is to the individual who comes to me for treatment. The treatment I provide is client centered and focused on the mental, emotional, and behavioral health and wellness of individuals, families, and couples. The techniques I use and teach in therapy, are based on mindfulness and change. My training allows me to provide a unique therapy that interweaves cognitive behavior, psychodynamic, motivational interviewing, and existential treatment together. This eclectic approach allows each individual to feel safe to disclose, discuss, and learn how their past affects their present, and can change their future.

I am honored and aware of these compliments and continue to live by their meanings. I am culturally sensitive, non-judgmental, and open minded with 44 years of my own experiences and trials. I am also a person in long term recovery. I know time is a valuable commodity. Therefore, my approaches are very structured and goal-oriented.
