About

I am a licensed counselor in Alabama and Ohio. I have 3 years of post-licensure experience and more than a decade of total experience working in various mental health related positions. I have provided individual and group counseling in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am currently a part-time instructor as well as pursuing my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Alabama.

My treatment approach integrates humanistic and cognitive-behavioral therapies. I believe in treating each client with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. I tailor the treatment plan to meet the unique needs of each individual. I have experience helping clients with stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, motivation, self-esteem and confidence issues.
