About

I am a counselor with over four years of experience. I graduated from Roosevelt University, which is a school that was born out of social justice. I have worked with diverse populations in various settings including individual therapy, group therapy, corrections counseling, and crisis counseling. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient facilities. My practice approach is based from a humanistic approach and rooted in the belief that all human beings have the ability to be their true selves and in turn, live their best lives. My type of therapy is warm, supportive, and non-judgmental. While it is important to process emotions and past events, it is important to then move forward with a plan that will enable you to feel accepted, productive, and confident.
