Hi! I am Savannah Williams, a clinically licensed therapist (LCPC). I work primarily with children, adolescents, and young adults. My experience is in crisis work, partial and intensive hospitalization, and private practice. I often use acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) to help you identify and target negative thinking patterns and behaviors you want to change. Understanding our thoughts, behaviors, and emotions can completely change our day-to-day experience. Together, we will create a treatment plan and goals based on where you want to see change. We will break down those goals into little steps and achieve them over time. I offer skills that can help you maintain the progress that you make during treatment and will incorporate grace and compassion throughout your journey. The journey to unlearning and learning the lessons that your life experiences taught you is extremely hard, especially when doing it alone. Working with me, I will be sure to create a safe and judgement-free space for you to grow and heal. Together, we will put in the work, effort, and support you need to achieve your goals! Remember, progress is not linear!
