My passion is working with individuals who are motivated to change to live a happy and more balanced life. I love working with diverse cultures and my lived experiences have helped shape my understanding of others. I consider family dynamics and their impact on the individual and am willing to work with an individual, couple or the family to help improve communication and conflict resolution strategies. Working with the needs of my clients gives me the ability to shift my approach. Life transitions are difficult. I am here to listen to your story and give you a safe space to create lasting change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience in multiple settings treating anxiety, attentional issues, autism and trauma for 19 years in clients of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Along with doing therapy I have worked as a school counselor for 17 years and can help navigate concerns with academics, social/emotional learning, and parenting. Areas of specialty included stress management and trauma related disorders. As a mom of 3, I enjoy helping other moms adjusting to and improving their lives. Working with the uniqueness of each individual is important to me. I work with my clients to develop a treatment that would best suit your needs to help you positively move forward in your life.
