Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years working with families, adolescents, and adults. My experience includes working with youth in treatment foster homes, providing triage therapy/crisis services in primary care clinics, providing school therapy and telehealth services for adults. I have worked with clients who have various concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, self-harm, adjustment to life changes, anger issues, parenting, stress management/coping skills, and relationship issues. I also worked with many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. Through working in the schools, I have recently worked more extensively supporting LGBTQ students and helping to navigate the challenges they may encounter with family, friends, or community. My approach is solution-focused and strengths-based drawing while also heavily utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Theory with some Dialectical Behavioral Therapy also. I also like to use motivational interviewing to help clients determine barriers and overcome them to live a happier and more fulfilling life.
