Welcome! My name is Sarah and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida. I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2009 and have been licensed since 2013. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings including inpatient and outpatient mental health, outpatient substance abuse, and in the community for individuals with chronic health issues. I have experience in several approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
What does all that mean to you? I am experienced, knowledgeable, and reliable. I also believe that I possess the natural qualities of being a good listener, a supportive ally, and committed to contributing the wellness of others. I know how difficult it is to undertake the task of looking inward and pursuing growth. For that reason, I take my role in your process seriously. I believe that committing to therapy is the ultimate form of self-care and I commend any person who undertakes the task!
