About

I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with ten year of experience working with clients. I use a ecological systems, a person-centered approach and strengths perspective to inform my practice. I use attachment theory as well as evidenced-based approaches such as Solution Focused Therapy, TFCBT, CBT and motivational interviewing in treatment. I have also completed three levels of Gottman couples therapy training. I am often electric in my approach and do not subscribe to a "one size fits all"approach to therapy. Many of my clients come to me experiencing symptoms from past trauma(s), anxiety, depression, OCD, relationship issues, and behavioral issues.

I feel honored to be asked to hear someone's story. I feel humbled and grateful to walk alongside people who are at a crossroads in their life or dealing with chronic issues. To me, therapy is a partnership with the client being the expert in their own life and the therapist acting as a support. I believe in the power of ones own efficacy, one's experiences and ones relationships and environment to be powerful tools in the helping process.
