Hello, first I want to say welcome and congratulations for taking a first big step in the direction of better self-care. No matter if this is your first experience with therapy or you trying a new type of therapy welcome and thank you for considering going on this journey with me. I would like to take some time to introduce myself to you.
My name is Sarah Isaac. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Mississippi. I have been working in community mental health for the last 5 years. I have experience working with clients with a wide rang of concerns such as depression, anxiety, anger management, parenting issues, relationship stress, and self-esteem issues as just a few examples. I utilize such therapeutic models as Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness.
As a therapist I believe it is key to have a good therapeutic alliance. I give my clients the time and space needed to feel comfortable to share their story. I show kindness and patience when needed. In addition, I use humor and other activities to help break the ice when needed. In addition, I will hold my clients accountable when they need me too. I hope to promote change within their life so that they can meet the goals that they set for themselves.
