About

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in Oregon with over 12 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with youth, families, and couples with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting concerns, LGBTQIA+ specific issues, and co-morbid diagnoses. I have spent the last 3 years working directly with youth and families in the foster care system, specifically youth who have experienced physical, emotional, and/or sexual abuse, neglect, plus other traumas.

I am compassionate, vibrant, and communicate well across systems and challenges. My counseling style is person-centered and collaborative; I believe in treating everyone with respect and empathy. I don't believe in using stigmatizing labels or perpetuating shame-based stereotypes. I would be overjoyed to bring my passion for this work to your case and work with you to best meet your needs. 
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and multi-cultural counseling. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
