Hello and welcome. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist licensed in California. I have 15 years of experience working with adults in all stages of life.

After many years in practice what I hear most from clients is that they appreciate having a therapist who plays an active role in sessions, creating a space for dialogue and new perspectives. I believe in the power of knowledge to help us see that our reactions to life can be understood and that we are not alone. You will set the goals for our work together and those will guide our sessions. We will find and utilize your strengths to move through places where you may feel stuck. I may suggest activities to try between sessions to help deepen what we are exploring. No matter what it is that you face, or how hopeless you may feel, you will have someone who is on your team, who strives to understand you and who believes in your ability to grow.

I help individuals with healing the past, creating healthy relationships, making career or life transitions, coping with medical challenges, fertility issues and starting families, integrating faith and spirituality, and parenting issues.

I have learned many evidence based practices over time, and I use them all, but research shows that successful therapy outcomes are really based on a having a positive relationship with one's therapist. Respect is the foundation of my work and our interactions. I look forward to meeting you!
