Do you love being a mom yet feel like there are other aspects of yourself that are struggling outside of motherhood? Do you feel like anxiety, worry, lack of motivation and energy are holding you back from doing the things you really want to accomplish or experience in your life? I help moms, no matter what period of life they are in- postpartum, mom of teens, career moms or empty nesters who are struggling with anxiety, struggling to balance everything, or feeling like they have lost themselves get back to a sense of peace, increase their confidence and help them create a life where they thrive as a mom and an individual. The struggle to balance all the roles a mom can be a lot and it is easy to let certain parts of ourselves including our own mental and emotional health fall through the cracks. There are a lot of intricacies to being mother. Not only do we have these precious humans to care for, but we have past pains that often unexpectedly get stirred up in motherhood, we have current life stressors we are trying navigating and dreams for our future that we are trying to keep alive all at the same time. This is why I specialized in maternal mental health and EMDR because there is so much that can be overlooked when working with women who are mothers and these specialties have been so helpful in helping many of my clients create breakthrough and healing in their lives.
