About

Whether you’re considering counseling for the first time or are a seasoned veteran, kudos to you for having the courage to take the steps towards investing in your personal growth and healing. Hello, and welcome. As a therapist and a fellow human, I have found that deepening our awareness of who we are and the struggles we face, within a supportive, safe relationship, can help us navigate life’s obstacles in ways that we did not feel were possible on our own. It can be one of the most empowering gifts we can give ourselves.

My therapeutic orientation is trauma, attachment, and somatic-informed, with a family systems lens. I offer creative, mindful, body-centered, and nature-inspired interventions within sessions as ways of tuning into ourselves, moving through patterns where we may feel “stuck,” exploring our values, and integrating them more fully into the life we intentionally want to lead.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, a certificate in Expressive Arts Therapy with a special focus in nature-based therapies, and a concentration in body-centered therapy from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Additionally, I am a a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Yoga Alliance-approved Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).

I am trained in evidenced-based, complementary and alternative modalities that support traditional talk therapy, such as Somatic and Attachment Focused (SAFE) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally-Focused Therapy for individuals and families, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Koru Mindfulness, and Trauma-Sensitive Yoga.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults/college students, adults, and families in community mental health, school-based, university, intensive residential recovery, and wilderness therapy settings and have supported clients facing anxiety, depression, grief, domestic/sexual abuse, foster/adoption issues, disordered eating, substance use/abuse, self-harm, suicidality, trauma recovery, and more.

If anything above resonates with where you are on your journey, I would be honored to hear your story and support you as you continue to craft the path you want to take from here.
