Hi! My name is Sarah Boyett and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I received my Master’s in Social Work at California State University of Monterey Bay. I have been working in the Community Mental Health Field for 10 years and I have been providing therapy for 5 years. I have a wide range of experience in providing therapy to teenagers, adults and older adults with all types of cultural backgrounds. I have the most experience providing therapy to those with anxiety, depression, mood, psychosis, trauma, and substance abuse disorders. I also have experience in resolving relationship conflicts and improving communication issues with families and couples.

The types of therapy I use are Solution Focused, Supportive Therapy, Trauma Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Grief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Goal-Oriented Therapy. I want my clients to get the most out of their therapy sessions, therefore, I refer and provide handouts and other materials so they can reflect back to them when needed. Therapy is a place where people learn new skills and behaviors which is why I believe it is so important to have something tangible in front of you to help support the learning process.

I offer a safe environment for you at all times with no judgment of my own. I am a genuine, empathetic, honest, and trustworthy individual who will always offer my full support to you. I understand being vulnerable and opening up with a therapist can be hard and scary, which is why I try to make you feel as comfortable as possible at all times while going at your own pace.

I am very fortunate to work in a field that I am passionate about, helping others overcome challenges in all aspects of their life. I enjoy being a part of a significant time in a person’s life where insight and change occur, while offering my support and guidance along the way.
