I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. I specialize in addiction and co-occurring disorders, mood disorders, and daily life challenges. I have practiced in a wide variety of settings, including residential, intensive outpatient and private practice. I use a person-centered humanistic/existential approach including CBT, mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing techniques to support clients in learning new skills and making the changes they want to make. A strength-based focus reinforces what is working well for you while exploring what could be improved to help you make the changes that support your treatment goals.
