Sara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 8 years of experience working with youth, adolescents, and adults. She believes in taking the time to get to know each client individually as well as their needs. There must be a strong foundation of trust and rapport before true therapeutic work can begin. Sara believes in using many different therapy modalities, with the understanding that we are all different and have unique and individual needs and goals. Due to her background as a yoga instructor, Sara enjoys drawing themes of mindfulness into therapy and empowering the client to utilize upon their strengths. Other modalities used may include elements of CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, Solution-focused therapy, and Positive psychology. Sara firmly believes that each client innately holds the tools to improve their quality of life, but may need some support , guidance, and at times just a good listener to help put these tools to use.
