Sara Gjorgjevik is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Sara obtained both her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Social Work from Aurora University. Sara works with clients 6 years and up in individual and family therapy and is trained in Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. Sara has experience working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, school issues, eating disorders, self esteem issues, defiant behavior, and parenting/coparenting issues. Sara uses a person centered approach along with other modalities that best meet each individual’s needs. Other modalities Sara commonly utilizes are CBT, DBT, FBT, solution focused, and play therapy. Sara strives to build a strong therapeutic relationship with compassion and humor to create a safe, nurturing environment that allows for vulnerability and growth.
