My name is Sara Johnson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in the social work field as a case manager, school social worker, and therapist. I received my undergraduate degree from Minnesota State University of Moorhead, and my graduate degree from the University of St. Thomas.

I believe in using a strengths-based, client-centered approach and work collaboratively with my clients to support them in reaching their goals. I became a therapist to empower people to improve their mental health, adjust to life changes, and overcome difficulties that are preventing them from feeling good and living the life they want and deserve.

I work to support children, adolescents, and adults, and might integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy - Enhanced (CBT-E), Family Based Therapy (FBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness techniques.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship issues, life transitions, parenting problems, career challenges and self-esteem.
