I hold a Master's in Counseling with an emphasis on Community Mental Health from Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi. I am originally from Austin, TX, and became interested in the counseling field as a result of seeing the need among individuals who struggle with complex trauma. I have 7 years of experience working in various community and private settings with youth and adults. I specialize in working with those struggling with anger, behavioral issues, anxiety, stress, depression, low self-esteem, and substance misuse. I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and strengths-based approaches. I focus on meeting the client where they are at regardless of their past struggles, in hopes that together we can work on making positive changes that will have a lasting positive impact on their future.
