Hi there, I'm Sandra! My name is Sandra E. Hurtado, LMFT. You are the expert on yourself, I am here to guide you. You have the answers within, together you will solve your issues. The past does not define who you are, or define your future. My approach My therapeutic approach is client-centered, using DBT, and CBT to guide and practice coping skills. My focus Clients who are depressed, have anxiety, and have experienced trauma need a therapist who is empathetic, and caring. They need effective coping skills, and a listening ear to validate, and reflect back their issues. My communication style The tone/environment is calm, caring, and empathetic. They feel cared for and listened to. Finding a team focus on creating solutions. My journey to therapy As a therapist, I can help people with their feelings, and emotions, and help them with their self-esteem, and relationships. My goal is for the clients to come up with their own solutions with guidance. My goals for you Client create their own goals, by looking at the client's needs.
