About

My intention is to provide a judgment-free space where we can talk about what is going on and collaborate on how to move forward from here. I have a flexible approach to counseling that allows me to meet the needs of each person I work with. I am easy to talk to, open-minded, caring, and dedicated to supporting my clients with whatever leads them to seek help. I am particularly effective at helping adolescents and young adults navigate the many challenges of emerging adulthood, such as identity development, forming healthy relationships, addressing career concerns/uncertainty, and more. Meanwhile, I enjoy working with a wide range of clients (ages, genders, reasons for seeking support, etc.). I have a lot of great strategies and resources to share with my clients to help with anxiety, stress reduction, and improving daily habits. During sessions, I ask a lot of questions so that I and my clients can both gain more clarity about what they are experiencing, and how they would like for things to be different. This leads us to create action steps and get momentum going in a positive direction. I walk the journey with my clients by providing encouragement and support. I also hold my clients accountable and provide useful resources and strategies that help them along their journey. I am passionate about my work as a counselor. I am very fortunate and grateful to be able to say that I really do love it... and I am thankful to my clients for giving me the opportunity to serve them, showing up, and putting in the work to better their lives. A little bit more about me... I am really into yoga and fitness (I am also a yoga teacher and personal trainer on the side), and I consider my movement and breathing practices to be a major foundation of my own life and well-being.
