I completed my Masters in Social Work with a concentration in Mental & Physical Health at Baylor University in 2015. Prior to attending graduate school, I obtained my Bachelors in Sociology and Community Health from Central Washington University. As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (WA) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (OR), I regularly participate in trainings and continuing education to ensure I am providing the most effective and ethical counseling. Throughout my career as a clinical social worker, I have worked with clients experiencing a variety of mental
health and environmental challenges, such as: trauma, homelessness, domestic violence, eating disorders, cooccurring disorders, depression, and anxiety.
I am committed to supporting, challenging, and guiding individuals and couples seeking counseling. Providing a space that is safe and empathic to the client is essential to me. My approach is evidence-based, personcentered, and trauma-informed. My primary modalities are: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). I am working on becoming a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) to enhance my background with persons with eating disorders for the past 3 years. Moreover, I want to meet clients where they are, with any approach; my background and experience provides a range of options for the work together as client and clinician.
