Hello! My name is Sadie Rojas and I am a LMFT #124083. My approach to therapy is to listen and create a judgment free space for you to heal or grow to lead to a life of happiness and good health. My approach While I can have a more eclectic approach my foundation is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. CBT challenges ones thought patterns have an impact on the emotions and behaviors of an individual, My focus I see individuals primarily from the age rage of 13 and up. I also work with couples and families. My communication style My style is to create a comfortable space for clients to come and know they are not going to be be with judgment. Ultimately I want my clients to feel safe, heard, and comforted so that I can be a guide for them to work towards growth and healing. My journey to mental healthcare While it may seem cliche my reasons for seeking a career in becoming a therapist is ultimately because I have a passion for helping others. While everyone has their own experiences of pain, trials, and tribulations I wanted others to know that they do not have to do that journey alone. My goals for you My approach to setting goals with clients is to collaborate with my clients to formulate a goal that is does not feel overwhelming or daunting but hopeful and achievable. My first session with you When attending a first session the time is utilized for me to gain better insight and clarification as to the reasons that client has sought support. However, my hope is that the space is also utilized for the client to obtain a sense of my approach to see if they too feel that they can build rapport with me as well.
