Life can be anxiety-provoking, stressful, and unpredictable. At Legacy of Love Counseling & Wellness, LLC we strive to provide individual and couples counseling that promotes tools and strategies to better cope with what life brings to the table. LOLCW wants to help you walk away with new belief systems & behaviors that allow the strongest most vulnerable parts of yourself to shine. A little about me. I am a licensed professional counselor and national board certified counselor in South Carolina. My educational background is in marriage, couples, and family counseling, and I am currently pursuing my doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have 4 years of experience working with clients with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship, and phase of life/personal development/life transition concerns. I have experience working in an integrative, patient-centered medical home setting as well. I provide services to individuals (18 and older) and couples.

My philosophy in therapy is that if nothing changes then nothing changes. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, therefore I use an integrative approach to therapy grounded in cognitive-behavioral, value, goal-oriented and family systems focused theories to tailor treatments to client's presenting concerns. Also, I encourage my clients to be active participants in their treatment, as I strongly believe that clients are the experts of their own selves, and my role is to foster and edify this belief in my clients. I also strive to help clients build resilience to effectively manage their experiences. Also, my goal is to help individuals and couples to develop healthy coping strategies and healthy and whole belief systems that can influence the health of generations to come in a positive way.
