Hello! My name is Ryan Tran I am a licensed marriage and family therapist located in California. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort. My specialization includes working with children, adults, males, and couples. My goal is to help my clients develop a healthy perception of themselves, strengthen the relationships around them, and ultimately live a more fulfilling life. As an Asian American male therapist, it is also important to me to be culturally competent and provide a safe and supportive space for my male clients and clients of color. My approach Common theoretical approaches I use often are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic. I also use other therapeutic approaches based on my client's needs. My focus I have been a therapist for many years. In those years I have worked with children, teens, adults, and couples. Due to my many years of experiences, I am quite comfortable working with clients from different ethnicities and genders with no concerns. My communication style I like to match my tone/environment with my client. I believe that creating a safe and comfortable environment is most important in what I do. I am quite easy going and I am here to listen, validate, and assist my client in identifying healthier tools to manage their life.
