Hi,

I am Lisa, and I have been in practice for 17 years. I have a non- judgmental approach to client -centered therapy and a vast amount of experience with children and adults who are working through stress and anxiety issues. Normal life means constant change, and being able to navigate through those changes with strong coping skills gives you the self-confidence you need to live your best life. I have a strong professional background in childhood and adult trauma, PTSD, and re-current depression. I am well trained in many different approaches to therapy such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Person Centered, Humanistic, Psycho Dynamic and Evidence Based Therapy (EBT).

I have three children of my own and have raised two sets of special needs children through the foster care system. I understand the challenges of normal life and believe with a whole heart that the key to therapy is helping you to find your power, by assisting you to take care of yourself first, strengthen your coping skills, and empower you to over come the obstacles of daily life. I believe the key to any kind of counseling is building a strong and trusting relationship.
