Hi, I'm Roxana, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor and Brainspotting Practitioner with a private practice in Boca Raton, FL. My experience lies in providing therapy to children, teens and adults in a variety of settings. These include inpatient residential treatment, outpatient, crisis intervention, school setting and private practice. Specialties include supporting individuals struggling to bounce back from divorce and toxic relationships and helping them navigate through negative emotions related to transitions, anxiety and depression. In addition, I also provide mental health services to adults and teens struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harm, destructive behaviors, addiction and trauma. I truly believe the power is within you and everyone is capable of accomplishing amazing things, sometimes we just need a little help seeing it. Navigating these challenging situations aren't always easy, but with the right support you can look at these difficult moments as opportunities that exist within each of us to truly heal. That's why my approach is collaborative and non-judgmental, working together with you every step of the way. Together we will develop an individualized therapeutic plan to help you achieve emotional stability and manage challenges in your life that are keeping you stuck. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you modify thoughts and change beliefs about yourself and others affecting your emotional growth. I also use Dialectical Behavior Therapy to help you learn and incorporate skills that emotionally regulate. In addition, I'm a believer in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you focus on solutions rather than problems, so you can identify your core strengths and reach and maintain your goals. Plus, I incorporate a range of other eclectic techniques tailored specifically to each individual.
