I believe as a society we are all more alike than we are different and we all have strengths that we can access to move us forward towards our own personal progress. Sometimes we just need help realizing them and taking the first step. I use a humanistic counseling approach that not only focuses on solutions, but the environment you dwell in, and the person as a whole. Our unconscious thoughts play a huge role in our motivations and cyclical patterns that exist in our lives. Through awareness we can alter the view of our experiences, explore new solutions and move closer to our personal goals.

I am a clinical social worker and psychotherapist practicing for over 4 years. Prior to offering therapy , for over 4 years I worked with children in families involved in the court system, foster care, social services, and the military that experienced loss of loved ones, substantial family conflict, substance abuse, complex trauma, and abuse. A lot of my experience includes working with trauma-informed interventions to provide support to women, children and families experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, grief & loss, parenting issues, managing blended family dynamics, relationship difficulties, divorce, employment discrimination and race-based trauma. I also regularly provide diagnostic assessments, provide crisis intervention, and am working on my yoga therapy certification.
