I'm a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), based in Illinois. For the past 12 years I have worked with a very diverse clientele facing challenges such as: Depression,
Anxiety, Trauma, Abuse, Domestic Violence, Life Changes, Self-esteem, Relationships, Family Conflict, Grief/Loss, LGBT+ issues, and other facets of being human. My approach is to create a therapeutic environment that promotes self-discovery and creates possibilities for balance within self and in interactions with others. My practice has been client based with focus on personal strength. I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods that are pertinent to the client's specific needs. I believe that every client needs to be provided with a safe environment in which to work through the sources of presented issues. Efficient therapeutic approaches combined with respect and affirmation will often promote growth and good results.
