I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have over 12 years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked in a variety of settings including residential, outpatient, in-home, and clinics. I have the most experience working with anxiety, depression, ADHD, parenting issues, and anger management. I also have experience working with LGBT related issues, trauma, and abuse, Bipolar Disorder, and family conflicts. I use a person-centered, holistic multicultural, and integrative approach in treatment. I primarily use evidence based techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused counseling. However, I do incorporate more “classical approaches to counseling as well.
