I received a Master of Education from the University of Georgia in 2001, specifically in the Community Counseling program. As a fully Licensed Professional Counselor since 2003, I've gotten to have a wide array of experience. Whether helping someone with Major Depressive Disorder, any sort of trauma, or life transition challenges, I adhere to a person-centered approach. This means meeting someone "where they are" and developing a strong therapeutic alliance and trust.
I feel privileged to be part of another person's experiences and understand it is not always easy for people to share their lives with me. The feedback I get from clients include feeling my genuineness and my ability to be non-judgmental no matter the issue.
