I graduated from the University of Florida in 2005 and became licensed as a therapist in Florida in 2009, giving me 17 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. In addition to Florida mental health licensure, I am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with experience in working with individuals with disabilities. My main expertise is in domestic violence, female issues, and helping individuals find autonomy.

I work from a strengths and resilience based perspective mainly relying on solution-focused techniques while also giving space to the individual's personal story. Often no one has asked "what happened" and I am someone who wants to know what happened while also staying focused on the future. I believe that individuals are the experts in their stories and that they have strengths that will assist in overcoming challenges.
