About

Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to stop by. I know your time is valuable, and you have a lot going on in your life, so I am proud of you for taking this first step towards reaching your personal goals. It takes bravery, strength, and wisdom to recognize when we need some guidance and support. I am passionate about helping each person become the most authentic version of themselves possible, and to enjoy their life and relationships. I want to help you reach your goals. Here is a little about me, and how I plan to support you: I am a registered Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #123169 in California. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from CSULA, and was awarded membership into the Psi Chi International Honor Society. I later earned my Master of Arts in Martial and Family Counseling from Alliant International University (Los Angeles Campus). I presented in 2017 at the AAMFT conference in San Diego on the Resiliency in Hispanic/Latino Immigrant Couples. In July 2020 I earned a Master of Arts in English Literature with an emphasis in Gothic Literature from National University (Online Campus). Currently, I am a doctoral candidate in the Business Psychology PhD program from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Online Campus). I am basic trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and in the process of working towards advanced certification in EMDR. I also incorporate interventions from a variety of approaches, such as: Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), seeking safety, solution focused, narrative, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), etc. Since day one of starting my MFT career, I have worked with children of all ages, and their families. I am fluent in Spanish, and English, so I am able to provide services in the language you prefer.
