Hi and welcome, my name is Rodrigo I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas . Let me tell you a little about myself, I obtained my Bachelor of science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Psychology concentration-counseling. My experience spans 14 years in the mental health field, since 2006 I have been working in different demographics and with all cultural backgrounds, . These demographics include adolescents, young adults, adults, and seniors. My job as a counselor in a refugee center has allowed me to work with clients from India, Bangladesh, Central America (Salvador, Guatemala, Hondura), South America (Ecuador, Brazil, Peru). During my time as a group counselor for a Batterers Intervention Program I was able to work with clients from different parts of the U.S. residing in TX. My theoretical orientations and evidenced based therapies of choice are trauma focused, cognitive behavioral , humanistic, existential, rational-emotive, narrative and positive psychology.

I believe in the power of resiliency and compassionate empathic counseling. We are evolving beings in constant change, always learning and evaluating our daily decisions. Reaching our human potential is important to us all, because we know it improves our lives and of those around us. I like to be part of this process in my client's lives, it drives me everyday. I don't like to be judgmental nor like labeling, we are all in a unique path seeking to improve and my role is to be there to help you reach this goals. I am available M-F 8-5 for Live-chat sessions ,and check my messages mornings and evenings. I have availability for phone and live sessions on early mornings and evenings with some morning hours on Mondays . Available hours can be viewed in my schedule, other hours can be requested.
