About

I am a licensed counselor, and counselor supervisor with 18 years of professional counseling experience. I earned a Bachelor's in International Studies, a Master's in Psychology and a Doctorate in Counselor Education. Clients have partnered with me as they work through life changes and decisions of many kinds. I partner with clients who are experiencing periods of confusion, anxiety, or self defeating behaviors. Sessions are a safe space where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My therapeutic approach is strength based with a strong focus on reality and personal responsibility. Some sessions may be psychoeducational. Research, role play or extra materials may be used to assist you in self-discovery, skill building and personal growth. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards change.
