I've have learned that the best approach to therapy is being authentic and down to earth. I bring genuine interest in listening to your story and have learned that the most important aspect to therapy is the relationship that exists between the counselor and the client. It's amazing what an impact having someone really listen to you makes. I want to make you feel comfortable enough to be uncomfortable because that's when the growth happens. What is your approach to therapy? I'm laid back and have an out of the box approach to problem solving. Everyone has a story and I believe yours is important to hear. Experience has taught me that it is more important to be strength-based than problem focused. I use creativity and attunement skills to get beneath your presenting issues so we can learn what is causing them. I think YOU are your best resource. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? Your answers are all inside of you. Let's work together to find them. Therapy is about creating a safe space, during which there is listening with respect, validation of feelings and identifying non-useful behavioral patterns.
