Hello, I am a psychotherapist, LCSW who has had 30+ years of experience with children, families, adults, veterans, and clients in the autism spectrum (mainly high functioning/previous Asperger's disorder). My clients have been challenged with OCD, Anxiety , Depression, Grief, chronic illness and Bipolar. Although I have a psychosocial perspective on what my clients are experiencing, I see the benefits and progress when clients incorporate the tools and skills that are helpful in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; to learn to take charge of their persistent negative thoughts and pain and reframe their perspective taking. Research also encourages CBT as a framework for growth and healing. Worksheets, supportive therapy, talking therapy, and book reviews for you to better understand your journey are helpful.
