About

My name is Bob Murray. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Oregon. I have also been licensed in California and Florida.

I have worked with men, women and teens who have dealt with issues that include relationship challenges, depression, trauma, anger, life transitions and work/school difficulties. I have also worked extensively with clients who have dealt with issues related to prison and juvenile justice systems.

With a warm, attentive and reality-based approach, I help my clients work through past abuses, solve current problems, identify goals for therapy and develop new strategies to more effectively achieve goals and life satisfaction. My work is influenced by a core belief that despite our difficulties and pain, each of us has an amazing capacity for healing, change and growth. My treatment approach focuses on client strengths, symptom relief and client-based solutions and I use techniques based in Family Systems, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioral and Reality Therapies.
