Helping people improve the quality of their life is my goal. Therapy doesn't need to take forever. People have busy lives and when they decide to try counseling, it's usually with the hope that they can feel less anxious, enjoy a better mood, or perhaps not be as angry. For most issues there is a solution. The best outcomes occur when solutions can be found without having to focus on the problem alone, but the solution. Socrates said, "A life unexamined is not worth living" I think he was being a little harsh. But I do think an examined life can be better in so many ways. I have expertise in several evidenced-based psychological treatments. My favorite is Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and I am a well trained Clinical Hypnotist.
