I have always had a passion for providing support to others. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) in Columbia, SC. My road to becoming an LPC has been quite a journey. I served over 27 years as a Soldier, with multiple combat deployments. I loved taking care of soldiers and their families, and continue to use my passion in professional counseling. I earned my Masters Degree in LPC in 2014 at South University. I work as an LPC at South Carolina Youth Advocate Program Counseling and Anderson Counseling and Education. I honestly can't imagine doing anything else or loving what I do more.

We have all experienced times where we felt overwhelmed, and uncertain about our next step. It's difficult dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, school, career, peer pressure, family, grief, mood disorders, and the changing phases of life.

I provide the tools you can use if you are in search of healing from brokenness, self-doubt, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, anger, and grief. I work with children as young as 9 years old and adults up to 75.

My objective is to meet the client where they are, and equip them the tools and strategies needed to help them meet their goals that can be used throughout their lives. I will use several modalities such as individuals, families or groups. And use the following interventions to help clients reach their potential. These interventions include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing , and improving communication skills. I am a firm believer that the client can manage their issues with appropriate interventions.
