About
With over 40 years of experience, Rob has helped families with conflicts that seem unbearable, couples with upsetting relational problems, and individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, traumatic memories, substance abuse disorders and frustrations related to problems in reaching vocational, spiritual, relational hopes and dreams. Rob uses an eclectic approach for all clients that includes person-centered, solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral and trauma therapy for all clients as needed, using primarily Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Rob also engages clients who are interested in spirituality, integrating the works of Viktor Frankl and Soren Kierkegaard, 12 step facilitation and/or Christian pastoral counseling. Rob is equipped to assist parents and grandparents with specialized parenting techniques to help biological, foster and adopted children who have various emotional and behavioral concerns, including Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD). Additionally, Rob is a Certified Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CAADC), having spent 15 years treating individuals with substance abuse treatments and co-occurring disorders therapies.
