Hello! My name is Rob Beckett.

I am a professional counselor (LPC) and School Counselor (NT) licensed in the stated of Michigan with well over a decade of clinical experience. I graduated from Cornerstone University with a double major in Psychology and Family Studies. I completed my Master’s Degree in Professional and School Counseling at Central Michigan University in 2008.

My professional experience includes working with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety and OCD, partner/marital issues, intimacy and sex-related issues, parenting concerns, anger, separation and divorce, adolescent/teen issues, career challenges, trauma, physical abuse, LGBTQ issues, NSSI and suicidality, chronic health issues, ADHD, etc. I have had the privilege of working with clients with many diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe the therapeutic process is collaborative and founded in relationship. Unconditional positive regard, compassion, encouragement, appropriate humor, and a space that is safe for the client to explore are staples of my approach. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
