About

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Hawaii and a National Certified Counselor. I have a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Chaminade University with 19 years of counseling experience behind me. I have worked with clients with various concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, stress, anger, ADHD, and more.
I believe that each one of us has faced unique life experiences that have shaped us into who we are today. While these life experiences are a part of us, it does not have to define who we are. It is my aim to help each person move forward in life's journey by building a strong therapeutic relationship with each individual in order to form the trust that is needed to work on the challenges they face. My approach is always person-centered and combines aspects of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
We as human beings are resilient and can overcome obstacles and challenges that happen in life. When our usual way of handling such situations is not working, it may take a partnership to explore other ways to help we can heal ourselves. I am here to be that partner and do hope that you reach out me or another licensed therapist to provide that helping hand.
