About

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Kentucky. For 10 years I have worked in supportive (helper) roles for University Hospitals, Schools, and Counseling Centers. During the past 5 years I have provided professional clinical support to adults, children and adolescents from hard places (with complex and/or identifiable traumas).

I specialize in family "systems" therapy which simply means I utilize a holistic approach/framework when working with clients. Each of us came from family systems, are a part of a relational system as adults, and have numerous parts of ourselves that make up our whole person (system). Additionally, I am a trauma-informed therapist who takes your whole story into account. It is with this holistic approach that I offer a gentle, kind, and compassionate perspective in walking alongside you wherever you are.

It is with deep acceptance and open arms that I welcome others into the sacred space of counseling and therapy. The scariest things that we have faced as humans, are facing right now, and will face in the future are overwhelming when believing that we face them alone. Although change is hard, and it takes time, your courage to face the difficult parts of life together (whether with your partner or with a therapist) makes all the difference.
