About

Hello. My name is Austin Bulloch. I’m an LCSW and mental health therapist. I’ve worked in residential care for ten years where I’ve gained extensive experience with a wide range of presenting concerns related to dual diagnoses, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, trauma, sexuality, non-monogamy, relationships conflict, and more.

I’m most passionate when working with clients who want to better understand themselves and create meaningful changes in their lives. My approach to developing skills with clients is to first understand their presenting concerns and to build a strong foundation of communication, while implementing proven therapeutic and goal setting strategies. Many of us are eager for solutions and
new skills quickly, however, establishing a greater understanding of presenting concerns is required in order to utilize skills effectively. Creating change in our lives can be a complex process, and I am here to help.

I experience greater success with clients when we meet regularly for virtual sessions to address accompanying concerns. Building rapport with clients is one of my primary goals, as a positive therapeutic relationship is important to communication and progress. While communicating between sessions has its utility, clients who seek a text-based exchange are better suited to another therapist with that style, as this process doesn’t compare to talk therapy with a
trusted advocate. I am willing to engage with clients between sessions, but I encourage them to bring concerns to individual session when we meet during our next session, as progress takes effort, time, and patience. I am available Mondays through Friday for sessions 9am-5pm. I check messages and respond to emails during scheduled work hours, but please allow 24-48 hours for me to respond. I believe I can help make a positive difference in my clients’ lives and I look forward to connecting with you.
